I liked the Gear Grabbar. Being a kayak angler, I have little room to store multiple of rods that could save time in switching lures. I also notice that I spend a lot of time during a lure switch by taking the lure off my line, putting it back in my tackle box, then getting the next lure. Often times, I like to use the same lures during any one outing.
I placed the Gear Grabbar on the runner next to me and when I took my lure off my line, simply attached it to the unit and put my next lure on. When I wanted to go back to the first lure, I had it out and sitting next to me within a short reach. I keep the Gear Grabber in my tackle box and take it out per outing, and feel that it would be a great asset in my ice shack. The Gear Grabbar is definitely a unique item, but I would say it is a must have in any stationary fishing situation.
