As the year comes to a close, I decided to sit back and take a look at the year that was 2011.  The year really started in the last few months of 2010 for me when I really started to get involved in on-line fishing forums, especially YakAngler.com.   This led me to launch YakFish.net with the help of YakSushi Media in January. 

It has been a while since I have posted on here so I figured I would put up a report from the other day... I planed a trip with one of the best kayak anglers on the planet And someone I am glad to call my friend Dee Kaminski from www.reelkayakfishing.com/ And a new friend and first time kayak angler Brittney Novalsky who is the owner of Florida Sportswomen.

This past Monday I had a chance to go fishing while in Florida for some training classes. Dee at Reel Kayak Fishing was available so I set up a charter. After a poor showing when I was in the area a few weeks ago I was looking forward to getting some instruction and learning more about the fishery.

The Trip down to Florida started out great, I received an upgrade to First Class for the trip, the first plane was on time and the next morning I would be fishing...

As I’m waiting for the weather to get warmer and pulling out my chest hair in anticipation for the yakangler.com Presidents Day Camping/Fishing Boondoggle, I’m happy to announce that the Kayak Fishing Radio Network has put together a team for this years Kayak Wars competition.
