Choosing a kayak can be difficult because there are so many from which to choose. And they come in all sizes, shapes and colors. If you’re an angler, then you can eliminate most cruising kayaks and most sit inside vessels. You’ll probably want to look at sit-on-tops (SOT) and/or hybrids that are made with anglers in mind.

Native is excited to announce some of the upgrades that they have made to the 2011 line up. With upgrades being made to many of Native's kayak's I wanted to focus specifically on two of their fishing kayaks that had what I feel to be most important updates in the the Native lineup.
Every year I still write a letter to Santa telling him what I want for Christmas. Yes I'm 31 years old and some might say too old to still be writing to Santa. I didn’t plan on demoing a Native Ultimate when we headed over to Canoe KY, but thankfully Nathan convinced me to give it a try. My first thoughts when looking at this boat was canoe. Big, heavy, hard to paddle, and nothing like a kayak but it did have a neat looking lawn chair for a seat!
