I had previously written an article titled “River 2 Sea Lures” introducing the Diver Frog and the Clackin’ Crayfish. So when I stumbled on the River2sea booth at ICAST I knew exactly what two lures I wanted to check out first hand.
Being that a large portion of the kayak fishing that I do is for bass and crawl fish are a “go-to” for me when it comes to bottom fishing, I just loved the way this crayfish looked and moved in the water.
I have still yet to fish this lure (hint hint River2sea if you read this article) but watching this lure in the demo pool and on the YouTube videos, I think that this is really going to be a good lure to add to the arsenal.

"There are lots of lures that look like a crayfish when they’re sitting still, but they don’t “do crayfish” when you move them. Until now, that is! And believe me, when a bass sees this, whether on the fall, the swim, crawl or just sitting still, THEY BELIEVE IT!
You can fish it like a jig, or swim it along the bottom. Fish it on drops, flats or weedlines. I suggest you fish it like it was a real crayfish and make it seem during the retrieve that it’s alternately scurrying to escape and stopping to hide on the bottom. You know just what it’s doing ’cause you can feel the tail kick with your rod tip when you accelerate the lure.
Crawl it, stroke it, swim it, rip it, let it fall, hang on."

Thanks for the great review. As for the use in the saltwater...the y have been doing a number on the calico and sand bass down in S. Cal.....looks like a small lobster. One last thing...change the web address to (www.River2Seausa.com) Thank you!
