Jackson Kayak launches the “Big Tuna”
No, they are not talking about Jim Halpert from the television series “The Office”. The Jackson Kayak “Big Tuna” is the latest fishing kayak created by Jackson and their spokesman Drew Gregory. This is the third (and quite possibly most unique) kayak released by Jackson since they teamed up with Drew.
River Bassin Trail Roanoke Wrap up

RiverBassin Trail Results: Frankfort, KY
Louisville KY, Taylor Maione makes her kayak fishing tournament debut at the 2011 RiverBassin Tournament Trail held in Frankfort, KY and presented by Canoe Kentucky. Taylor took a first place finish in both the Youth Division and the Female division.
Jackson Kayaks builds a Kayak Fishing Fleet
Last year, the Jackson Kayak's 'Coosa took inland kayak fishing by storm. An incredibly agile and stable fishing platform that excelled on small rivers, the Coosa still left a little to be desired on larger bodies of water where speed and direction are more desired. Jackson Kayaks put Drew Gregory back to work and now two new fishing platforms are poised to hit the market.
Pro Kayaker Drew Gregory Featured on Discovery Channel

At the 2010 Outdoor Retailers show Jackson Kayak introduced their new kayak fishing kayak. The Coosa Elite, a kayak inspired by Pro Angler Drew Gregory. This is one of the first kayaks in kayak fishing that is designed specifically for river fishing.
Riverbassin.com trail hits the volunteer state
The River Bassin' Trail held its second event this weekend in the rivers surrounding the Sevierville, TN Bass Pro Shops. This is a unique kayak fishing trail where anglers allowed to select rivers within a specified area to fish. Ten percent of the proceeds from this trail are being donated to the ALS Association to help researchers find a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease. Atlanta Wrap Up
The 2010 River Bassin Tournament Trail kicked off with a bang at the Atlanta, GA, Bass Pro Shops this past weekend (5/1/10). 24 anglers from 6 different states took place in the eco-friendly catch-measure-photo-release event. The estimated impact in total number of spectators, participants and tournament staff that showed up to Bass Pro Shops for the 2-day event was around 90 individuals. So far all the participants and spectators have had nothing but great things to say about the event, its sponsors, directors and host Bass Pro Shops. Many are already making plans to travel to the next tournament being hosted by the Sevierville, TN, (Knoxville) Bass Pro Shops on May 22nd where we anticipate the numbers to grow.
