The 2011 IFA Kayak Fishing Tour finale is in the books. Kayak anglers from around the country battled it out in Chalmette Louisiana for a chance at being the 2011 IFA Kayak Fishing Tournament Champion. After two days of fishing Justin Carter emerged the victor with a combined total 105 inches winning him the championship and the 2011 Angler Of The Year.
If you haven’t heard already Blake and Deanna Young of NuCanoe hit the road over a month ago, turning the country with two of their newest kayaks the Frontier 12. Roger Bump blasts the completion in the second event of the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour "Florida East Coast Division". Fishing the St. Johns River, Bump targeted the deep channel and rock piles in the area. Bump not only won the event but won the $100 Berkley GULP Big Redfish Award and PENN Reel Award for winning and fishing the event with a PENN Reel.
