Lowrance Transducer Scupper Mount

Lowrance has introduced to the kayak fishing community what should be considered the ultimate transducer mounting system for sit-on-top fishing kayaks. With the “Transducer Kayak Scupper Mount” the transducer is totally submerged in the water. This guarantees maximum sonar signal return sensitivity, producing the absolute clearest underwater returns of structure and fish possible.

The Halfway Point, Ozello Classic

There were some big questions answered at the Peck’s Third Annual Ozello Classic on May 5, 2012. Who would win this all-important Classic at the halfway mark in the series year? Bedding Bass

Fishing bass during the spawn, in particular bedding bass - what a touchy subject! If you ask ten bass fishermen their thoughts,  the answers will vary from “never” to “situation” to “always”, and the discussions on the subject sound like presidential debates. Let us delve into the “situation”. Why? Because this is the one I adhere to, and I am going to go over the thought process, baits, and what to look for.

Is it Really January?

January 6th, and it’s my first angling outing of the New Year. I hope it’s an indication of how my fishing is going to go for the rest of this year!
